When my husband suffered a heart attack, the medical bills started piling up. My supervisor recommended that we try the YMCA for their quality Child Care, strong values and the ability to assist with our financial hardships. We never guessed how that simple suggestion would change our lives.
Although our son was attending day care, we were disappointed with the behaviors that he was bringing home. Now that he is enrolled in YMCA Child Care programs, I can go to work knowing that my son is safe and engaged in positive and enriching activities.
Thanks to financial assistance from the Open Doors program, our son has also had the opportunity to learn how to swim, play soccer and improve his social skills.
Today we couldn't be happier as a YMCA family. I cannot express how much this program has improved our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
