Sports are at the heart of all YMCAs. Did you know that basketball and volleyball were both invented at the Y, while softball and racquetball got their beginnings there as well? The YMCA encourages family involvement and hopes that everyone can enjoy the YMCA experience. Under the leadership of caring and dedicated staff and volunteers, participants learn the true meaning behind sports, including the skills for the specific activity; why teamwork is critical in life; how to be respectful of coaches, officials and teammates; and understanding that having fun and making friends are what sports are all about.

Ballet
Days: Fri
Time: 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm
  Designed for children ages 3-5, this is an introduction to the basics of dance, ballet positions, body awareness and coordination.

Comfortable ballet clothes and ballet shoes required. New classes begin monthly. Be sure to stop by Member Services for additional information.

Days: Mon, Wed
Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
  Learn the basic moves of Tae Kwan Do, Martial Arts. Uniform recommended.

Tumbling
Days:
Time: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm
  Y Tumbling increase your child's coordination, muscle development and social skills. Teachers use a variety of child-size equipment, games, music and toys to make the activities highly appealing for all.

Little Tumblers (18-36 months with parent)
Preschool Tumblers (3-5 years)
School-Age Tumblers (6-12 years)
