Dear YMCA Silver Beach Staff,

Eastern Shore Rural Health Services Inc. would like to thank YMCA of South Hampton Roads for allowing us to use Camp Silver Beach for our Asthma camp. We greatly appreciate your support of ESRHS and our "Camp Superkids." The grounds are beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with.

Asthma camp is a day of fun, educational activities where children can learn about asthma triggers, therefore controlling their asthma. It is often the first time many of them have experienced an entire day full of activity without worrying about an asthma attack. Children participate in crafts, swimming and games. At the end of the day, they give a presentation on what they learned to their parents.

Dear Silver Beach,

Joe and I would like to thank you for making our post-wedding celebration so wonderful. We appreciate all the work you did on the front end with the plans and the registration process and the staff did an excellent job all weekend long! The great part was that there were things for people of all ages to do. Everyone had fun on the beach and at the pool, and the more adventuresome enjoyed the Alpine Tower, Alpine Swing and Skate Park.

The food was excellent all weekend long including Saturday's Chesapeake Bay seafood feast as we watched a beautiful sunset. Everyone loved the bonfire on Friday night and the staff at Silver Beach all did a really great job making our guests feel welcome, talking to them, and helping them out as needed. They really went above and beyond the call of duty. We can't thank you enough and hope to be back soon!

Dear Conference Director,

I want to let you know how helpful the staff at Silver Beach has been to me. I have been to a few Shore Birds Quilting Retreats. I have Type II Diabetes and don't eat wheat or wheat starch. Justin and the rest of the staff went out of their way to provide different options for me. That is not true about other places I have been to.

Camp Silver Beach is one of the most impressive sites that I have ever seen. It is majestic and quaint with loads of love and compassion about the mission of the YMCA. The service that we received was out of this world! Everyone was ready, able and willing to help with whatever our anticipated need may have been. The site itself is such an amazing benefit to anyone who is looking to renew, revitalize, restore or build relationships. The scenic view, the lodging and the available resources onsite make you feel as if you are tucked away in your own private little island.

Thank you Camp Silver Beach for offering such an amazing stay for our church spiritual retreat -- we look forward to seeing you next year!
