Teens
The Great Bridge/Hickory Family YMCA recognizes the importance of creating a positive, safe environment for teens in the community.
Each teen program or activity is focused on developing the spirit, mind and body; stimulating creativity; offering
challenges; building developmental assets; and of course, fun! Teen opportunities include:
- TeenQuest: Part of the FitQuest program, TeenQuest is designed specifically with teen fitness needs in mind. Our trained FitQuest Coaches will teach, guide, motivate you and give you the personal attention needed to successfully reach your fitness goals. Sign up for FitQuest at the Member Services desk.
- Weekly Teen Night
- Interactive Zone: The YMCA takes working out to the next level. Step into a virtual world of fitness in the Interactive Zone. Youth can play video games with friends while being engaged in physical activity on NEW Expresso bikes. Families can race one another, pedaling side by side, while following a visual of their course. Or, check out the NEW Xerdance, which provides the perfect platform for individuals or groups to perform dance steps in unison with the onscreen instruction. At the YMCA, getting fit has never been so fun!
