Chesapeake YMCA Aquatic Team is the Greenbrier Family YMCA's swim team. Ages 5-18 can try out for the team and become part of this exciting program. Additional fees do apply and each participant must be a YMCA member. Swimmers will practice and also compete in USA swim meets. This class will use the full length of the pool in a fantastic workout to burn calories and tone muscles. Fins create resistance against the water so more load is put on the major muscles of the leg which increases the heart rate and burns more calories.
