With lap lanes, open swim times, water exercise classes, swim lessons, swim teams, water slides and playgrounds, the YMCA is well equipped to provide an enjoyable outlet of aquatic fun and fitness for the entire family. Our highly trained aquatic associates are nationally certified, holding certifications in CPR, AED, O2 Administration and Lifeguarding.

  A challenging aerobic water workout. Use of equipment and resistance that enhances conditioning and toning throughout the class. You do not have to be able to swim to benefit from this class.

Aquatic Arthritis - Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays

  This class is taught using Arthritis Foundations guidelines. The water's natural buoyancy and continuous resistance improves joint flexibility and muscle strength. This class is low impact and is held in the shallow end of the pool.

Fins create resistance against the water so more load is put on the major muscles of the leg which increases the heart rate and burns more calories. You will need to be comfortable in the deep water.

Open Swim

Time: 11:00 am - 6:30 am
  Time at the pool for individuals and families for open swim or exercise swim. Lifeguards will check the swimming ability of each child in the pool.

Children 9 and under need to be accompanied by an adult in the pool at all times. Children 10 and older may come to the pool by themselves as long as an adult is in the building with them.

The Dolphin Slide is available on Friday night from 7:30–9pm, Saturday from 1pm–4pm, and Sunday from 1pm–4pm.

Outdoor Pool
Days: All
Time: 10:30 am - 8:00 pm
  Come play and have a fun, safe summer at the Greenbrier Family Outdoor Aquatic Facility. The pool features a 4 foot deep, 25 meter pool, a toddler wading pool, and a brand new water park!

Lifeguards will check the swimming ability of each child in the pool.
Children 9 and under need to be accompanied by an adult in the pool at all times.

Children 10 and older may come to the pool by themselves as long as an adult is in the building with them.

Private Swim Lessons

  Swim lessons for all ages and all abilities from beginner to advanced to reach swimming goals of the individual. Please call the Aquatics office for more details and to register.
