Older Adults |
The YMCA Older Adults programs are designed to enrich the lives of people who are in their middle and older
years by helping them develop skills to meet life's challenges. Older adults can stay active and healthy by
participating in both physical and social activities. At the YMCA, older adults have a place to go to improve
their fitness levels, explore new interests and make new friends! |
Activities Include:
- GoldQuest— personalized wellness program for adults over 55 years
- Interactive Zone: Youth can play video games with friends while being engaged in physical activity on Expresso bikes. Families can race one another, pedaling side by side, while following a visual of their course. Or, check out Xerdance, which provides the perfect platform for individuals or groups to perform dance steps in unison with the onscreen instruction.

Y-Pilates strengthens and lengthens core muscles. Breathing control and flexibility exercise are used to improve posture, body alignment and overall strength. |

Interactive fitness equipment sure to offer members an exhilarating full-body workout while playing video games! The equipment offers something for everyone, from simulated interactive training for athletes, to keeping youth and teens active and excited about fitness, to mental and physical coordination exercises for older adults and rehabilitation patients. |

A trainer will work with you on a continual basis and provide individual or group consultations. Training may include cardiovascular workouts, weight training and nutritional information needed to achieve your personal goals.
Must be a YMCA member; sessions are 1-hour long.
