Older Adults
The YMCA Older Adults programs are designed to enrich the lives of people who are in their middle and older years by helping them develop skills to meet life's challenges. Older adults can stay active and healthy by participating in both physical and social activities. At the YMCA, older adults have a place to go to improve their fitness levels, explore new interests and make new friends!

Group Exercise - Stretch (Level I)
Days: Wed
Time: 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
  Stretch improves flexibility and muscle tone with a concentration on body awareness, breathing techniques and increased range of motion.
Group Exercise - Y Pilates (Multi Level)
Days: Tues, Thurs
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
  Y-Pilates strengthens and lengthens core muscles. Breathing control and flexibility exercise are used to improve posture, body alignment and overall strength.
Group Exercise - Yoga (Level I) - Tues 5:15pm

Time: 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm
  Yoga concentrates on improving balance, flexibility, relaxation and breathing techniques. This is a great way to learn how to manage and relieve stress.

The equipment offers something for everyone, from simulated interactive training for athletes, to keeping youth and teens active and excited about fitness, to mental and physical coordination exercises for older adults and rehabilitation patients.

Personal Training

Time: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm
  A trainer will work with you on a continual basis and provide individual or group consultations. Training may include cardiovascular workouts, weight training and nutritional information needed to achieve your personal goals.

Must be a YMCA member.

Women's Fitness - Women on Weights
Days: Mon, Wed
Time: 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Dates: 9/15/08-10/8/08
  This program is designed for Women that want to increase their knowledge of free weight exercise. Groups are small and are for beginner or advanced strength training.

$75 Members
Registration Required. Members: 9/2/08-9/16/08. Register Online.
Y-Change (AM)
Days: Tues
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
  A 6-week starter fitness program that is targeted for members who are "new" or "returnees" to fitness. Learn more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training sessions.
