Older Adults
The YMCA Older Adults programs are designed to enrich the lives of people who are in their middle and older years by helping them develop skills to meet life's challenges. Older adults can stay active and healthy by participating in both physical and social activities. At the YMCA, older adults have a place to go to improve their fitness levels, explore new interests and make new friends!

  This 30-minute beginning aqua fitness class emphasizes the basics of water exercise. A great way to test the waters!
Chair Yoga
Days: Tues, Wed
Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am
  Strengthen and stretch while focusing within. This class is chair-based.
Massage Therapy
Days: Mon, Fri
Time: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  Provides pain relief from tight muscles, increases mobility of joints, Improves posture, circulation, tone & elasticity of the skin and quality of sleep. Reduces swelling from excess water retention, promotes faster healing from injuries and surgeries, increases vitality, energy and mental alertness and reduces stress.

PowerAqua
Days: Tues, Thurs
Time: 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
  A high intesity cardiovascular water workout. Class is one hour.
Senior Strength
Days: Thurs
Time: 9:45 am - 10:30 am
  Targeted especially for the senior population, this class increases functional strength utilizing one's own body weight, bands, and dumbbells.
Water Arthritis
Days: Mon, Wed
Time: 8:00 am - 9:00 am
  60 minute class, performed in the pool, designed specifically for those with arthritis to help with mobility and pain. Movements are slow, working with range of motion.
