The Indian River Family YMCA recognizes the importance of creating a positive, safe environment for teens in the community. Each teen program or activity is focused on developing the spirit, mind and body; stimulating creativity; offering challenges; building developmental assets; and of course, fun! Teen opportunities include:

  • Interactive Zone: An investment of $375,000 in new interactive equipment is sure to offer YMCA members an exhilarating, full-body workout while playing video games! More than just a computer that makes you sweat, the equipment offers something for everyone from simulated interaction training for athletes, to keeping youth and teens active and excited about fitness, to mental and physical coordination exercises for older adults and rehabilitation patients.

  Swim lessons for adults and teens of all abilities from beginner to advanced. Program structured to reach the swimming goals of the individual. Must be age 13 or older.

Advanced Karate

  This level is designed for children age 7 and older with at least six months of experience in karate.

Advanced Karate
