Aquatics
With lap lanes, open swim times, water exercise classes, swim lessons, swim teams, water slides and playgrounds, the YMCA is well equipped to provide an enjoyable outlet of aquatic fun and fitness for the entire family. Our highly trained aquatic associates are nationally certified, holding certifications in CPR, AED, O2 Administration and Lifeguarding.
- Swim Lessons: YMCA Swim Lessons are taught by nationally certified instructors with additional safety training in CPR, First Aid, AED, and O2 administration. Certified lifeguards are on duty at all times. Our Swim Lessons offer a low student-teacher ratio to help children and adults, ranging in age from 6 months to adult, safely develop their skills and confidence in the water. All classes consist of eight 30-minute lessons. Private Swim Lessons are available.

Birthday Splash Parties
Have your birthday party at the YMCA and enjoy our giant whale slide in our indoor pool. Party is limited to 20 children (or adults with youthful attitudes) with 1 hour in the pool and 1 hour in a party room. Decorations, cake and snacks may be brought in.
Birthday Interactive Zone Parties
An Interactive Zone coach will lead your party with interactive challenges and competitions on our video-based cardio equipment. "Play with Purpose" is the concept of this unique birthday party theme.

| Jr. Lifeguard Camp I |

Jr. Lifeguard Camp I is designed to give youth ages 8-11 a basic introduction to Lifeguarding. Campers learn basic boating and water safety, as well as personal safety and perform basic rescues with the supervision of Certified YMCA Lifeguards. There will be a classroom portion followed by water instruction with one hour of free swim every day.
Upon completion of the camp participants will shadow a veteran lifeguard and be awarded a YMCA Jr. Lifeguard certificate and a YMCA Jr. Lifeguard t-shirt! | Private Swim Lessons |

Private 6 or 8, 30-minute lessons.
Beginner
Polliwog - Can swim one length of the pool using front crawl, back crawl and tread water for 30 seconds.
Guppy - Must be able to jump in water unassisted and float comfortably on back. Swims underwater. Can perform front crawl with breathing. Treads water for 20 seconds.
Minnow - Can swim one length of the pool using front crawl, back crawl and tread water for 30 seconds.
Advanced
Fish - Must swim one length of pool using front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, side stroke, elementary back stroke and tread water for 1 minute. Focuses on stroke development.
Flying Fish – Introduction to advanced swimming skills. The instructor refines previously learned strokes, encourages students to swim a distance of 100 yards and introduces the butterfly.
Shark – Must be able to swim 50 yards continuously in each stroke, and the instructor encourages students to swim a distance of 200 yards.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including proper use of dive equipment and techniques. Course includes classroom and pool times with scuba instructors.
Program fees include student manual, mask, fins, snorkel and weight belt for pool time, PADI certification and open water dive fee. Dive equipment for open water dive is not included.
There is a two day weekend lake dive required for certification, upon completion of the lake dive participants will receive a PADI certification. Class times are Friday 6 to 8:45 pm (class room), Saturday 10 am to 4 pm (class room and pool) and Sunday 12 to 3 pm.
Requirements: Must be able to swim a minimum of 200 yards.
