The YMCA Older Adults programs are designed to enrich the lives of people who are in their middle and older years by helping them develop skills to meet life's challenges. Older adults can stay active and healthy by participating in both physical and social activities. At the YMCA, older adults have a place to go to improve their fitness levels, explore new interests and make new friends!

Active Older Adults Potluck Brunch

  "AOA Brunch" potlucks are held the second Wednesday of each month, after the 8 am Water Arthritis class. Bring your favorite dish (and recipe) and socialize with other members.
Adult Arts & Craft Day, 3rd Friday of Each Month

  Be creative with your friends or make new friends. Materials are provided.

  A 30-minute class similar to Tai Chi, in chest deep water, Low intensity workout using a combination of deep breathing and slow broad movements.

  A half-hour class focusing on shallow-end and deep-end exercises for the abdominal muscles; a great way to target the mid-section while enjoying the indoor pool.

  A 60-minute shallow water workout utilizing all large muscle groups. Great for all fitness levels. Some classes designed as a high energy workout.

Birthday Parties for All Ages

  Birthday Splash Parties
Have your birthday party at the YMCA and enjoy our giant whale slide in our indoor pool. Party is limited to 20 children (or adults with youthful attitudes) with 1 hour in the pool and 1 hour in a party room. Decorations, cake and snacks may be brought in.

Birthday Interactive Zone Parties
An Interactive Zone coach will lead your party with interactive challenges and competitions on our video-based cardio equipment. "Play with Purpose" is the concept of this unique birthday party theme.
