The Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA offers full-day toddler and preschool programs. Our full-day toddler program emphasizes developing a strong self concept as well as social, intellectual and verbal skills. Children do not have to be potty-trained to attend this program.

Our Preschool program can help prepare your child for success in school — and in life. New research on the brain and on learning shows how important the early years are in a child's learning and development. What happens in preschool matters a lot. And what you do at home is even more important. Working together, we can give your child the best start for school.

Our curriculums are consistent with the YMCA's philosophy, which is grounded in a child-centered and holistic approach to early childhood education. Core competency areas are literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, arts, technology, healthy habits and social, moral and spiritual development. The program is enriched by swimming, sports and movement. Children must be potty-trained to attend this program.

There is also an annual materials fee of $50. Morning and afternoon snack and weekly Swim Lessons are included in tuition.

The Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA also offers Summer Preschool Camp.
