Teens

The Blocker Norfolk Family YMCA recognizes the importance of creating a positive, safe environment for teens in the community. Each teen program or activity is focused on developing the spirit, mind and body; stimulating creativity; offering challenges; building developmental assets; and of course, fun! Teen opportunities include:

  • Interactive Zone: An investment of $375,000 in new interactive equipment is sure to offer YMCA members an exhilarating, full-body workout while playing video games! More than just a computer that makes you sweat, the equipment offers something for everyone from simulated interaction training for athletes, to keeping youth and teens active and excited about fitness, to mental and physical coordination exercises for older adults and rehabilitation patients.
  • TeenQuest
  • Hoist Resistance Equipment: 10 piece strength training circuit for youth and teens.
The YMCA is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. If you and
your family need financial assistance in paying fees for YMCA programs or membership, just ask! Download
