    Do you want to find out the latest happenings in group exercise at the Y? Then stop by our information wall and pick up your copy of our monthly newsletter. This is where you will find information about our extra classes such as Advanced Yoga, Master Cycling class, Starter classes and other information that will enhance your "Y" experience.

  • Y-Change
    An experienced, committed and motivated Y-Change coach will lead you through a 6-week journey toward a healthier lifestyle. Each week you will meet with your coach in a small group setting for a support and educational session, as well as meet two additional times to work out. You will also keep a journal which indicates a food and activity log. The Y-Change program will give you the confidence and knowledge necessary to implement small steps to positively change your lifestyle. Sign up at the Member Services desk.
  • Boot Camp
    Do you want to change up your workout routine? Then try our newest Group Exercise class Boot Camp! This class challenges the body with a variety of cardio and strength training techniques through calisthenic type exercises. This class is every Wednesday in the Basketball Gym from 6:15 - 7 pm and on Friday from 8:30 - 9 am.
  • Outdoor Pool
    The Outdoor Pool is open Monday thru Friday 5 am - 9:30 pm, Saturday 8 am - 5:30 pm and Sunday 11 am - 5:30 pm.
  • Suffolk Family YMCA Swim Team
    Do you want to become a part of our Swim Team? We will be having tryouts at the Suffolk Family YMCA August 23 - 26 from 5:30 - 6 pm. The minimum requirements are: must be a YMCA member between the ages of 5 - 18, be able to swim 1 lap front crawl, back crawl and have knowledge of other strokes. If you join the team the season will be from September 15 - December 14 and the fee will be $40 per month.
  • America on the Move
    Sign up with our Fitness Staff for our fitness incentive America on the Move. You can start signing up on August 26, the workout campaign is from September 5 - 25, workout 3 times a week for 3 weeks and you will receive a prize!
  • Friday Family Fun & Fitness
    Let the Y provide fun activities and food on select Friday nights so that you can spend quality time with your family creating memories and making new friends.
