Sports are at the heart of all YMCAs. Did you know that basketball and volleyball were both invented at the Y, while softball and racquetball got their beginnings there as well? The YMCA encourages family involvement in hope that everyone can enjoy the YMCA experience. Under the leadership of caring and dedicated staff and volunteers, participants learn the true meaning behind sports, including the skills for the specific activity; why teamwork is critical in life; how to be respectful of coaches, officials and teammates; and understanding that having fun and making friends are what sports are all about.

Aqua Volleyball
Days: Mon, Wed
Time: 9:00 am - 10:00 am
  Join us for a fun and active game of Aqua Volleyball! An ideal class for those looking for a great workout while having fun! This participant-led class uses a beach ball and net in the shallow end of the pool.

Swimming skills are not required for participation. Flotation belts are provided if needed. One-piece swimsuits and aqua shoes are highly recommended.

Offered every Monday and on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday at 9:00 am. (Youth 8-12 years old may attend this class with a parent or supervising guardian.)

  Teens (ages 13-19), come enjoy a pick-up game of half-court basketball! Get a great workout and make new friends. Free — no registration required.
Basketball (Teen/Adult) Sat

Gymnasium (Open Gym)
Days: All
Time: 5:00 am - 9:45 pm
  When other programs are not scheduled, our gymnasium is available for open gym time (please see our Gymnasium schedule for specific times). This is a great time for practicing basketball shots, fitting in some soccer ball drills, or simply enjoying family “play” time with your children. Remember to work together with your fellow members to share the gymnasium space so everyone can enjoy Open Gym together!

S.P.A.R.K.
Days: Tues, Wed, Thurs
Time: 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm
  S.P.A.R.K. (Sports, Play & Active Recreation for Kids) is a program that gives our older children and pre-teens an opportunity to exercise their muscles, learn about their bodies, develop healthy habits and meet new friends during team building activities! S.P.A.R.K. is an ongoing program that does not require advance registration. Parents, please sign in your child for S.P.A.R.K. in the Interactive Zone.

Ages 6-9: Tuesdays/Thursdays, 6:15-6:45 pm
Ages 10-12: Wednesdays, 6:15-6:45 pm
