Sports
Sports are at the heart of all YMCAs. Did you know that basketball and volleyball were both invented at the Y, while
softball and racquetball got their beginnings there as well? The YMCA encourages family involvement in hope that
everyone can enjoy the YMCA experience. Under the leadership of caring and dedicated staff and volunteers,
participants learn the true meaning behind sports, including the skills for the specific activity; why teamwork is
critical in life; how to be respectful of coaches, officials and teammates; and understanding that having fun and
making friends are what sports are all about.

Registration is for entire session of 8 classes (no individual classes available). Students should only be registered if they can attend both classes each week. Refunds are not issued for missed classes, and prorated or partial session fees are not available.
