Share your Y membership during Bring-A-Friend Week!
Bring a different friend each day between September 5–10 and each guest has five consecutive days to enjoy the Y. If they get hooked and decide to join, YOU get a free month of membership (up to six months!), and a new workout buddy!
Here's how it works:
- Bring a friend between September 5-10 and your guest has five full consecutive days to enjoy the Y. Last possible complimentary day is September 15. Visit any YMCA of South Hampton Roads Family Center. Members must bring guest for first visit.
- Guests can participate even if they have used a guest pass already in 2017.
- Referring member must be 18 years of age or older.
- Guests must be 18 years of age or older, show ID and sign a guest waiver.
- Guests receive member benefits for five consecutive days (excluding member discounts on programs).
- Members may bring one individual per day.
- Referring member receives one month of membership if guest joins (if you bring a new guest each day, and they all join, you could earn up to six months of membership!)

- Take one of our popular group exericse classes, like Power®, Zumba® or Ride®.
- Go for a dip in the indoor pool or relax in the sauna.
- Hop on next to each other on one of our thousands of pieces of cardio equipment, like treadmills, tread climbers and ellipticals.
- Sign up for group training and reach milestones and goals together! (which we would be happy to offer to your friends when they become a part of the Y!)
- Enjoy a cup of coffee together from the coffee bar and catch up!
- Volunteer together and help make your community a better place.
