Family
Today’s fast-paced world provides little opportunity for families to spend quality time together. Do something fun and affordable with your family by participating in various Y activities! Check out specific YMCA family center pages to get details on pool parties, holiday activities, festivals, fitness challenges and other special events that you can participate in as a family.

  • Stay & Play: Weekly themes and planned activities keep children ages six weeks to 8 years entertained while parents enjoy a stress-free workout.
  • Family Nights: We understand that families strengthen bonds when participating in enjoyable activities together. With opportunities for quality time in family fun nights, game nights, events at the pools and holiday events, you’re sure to find ways to keep your family active and having fun at the Y.
  • Family Cycling: cycle alongside mom, dad, brother or sister; have an invigorating ride, led by enthusiastic instructors.
  • Family Swim: enjoy time together as a family in the pool; take advantage of our inflatable waterslides!
  • Healthy Kids Day: Kids and parents enjoy this annual community event held on a Saturday in April usually from 10 am–1 pm. Look for special events with nutrition information, karate and gymnastics demos, fun games, face painting and more.

  • Parent/Child Group Exercise classes: spend quality time together being active & having fun.
  • Open Gym: enjoy free time to play ball with your kids.
  • Outdoor Aquatic Fun: beat the heat this summer; swim, slide and splash with your family in our eight outdoor pools/water parks.

Concepts of healthy eating, physical activity, communication, spending time together and community service will be incorporated into the program, which meets for one and a half hours, once a week.
  • Y Community Night: At the Y, we understand that families strengthen bonds when participating in enjoyable activities together.
