Annual Giving Campaign | Currituck Family YMCA

As a locally based nonprofit organization, our number one priority is to serve this community. So every tax-deductible dollar you donate directly affects all of us in the best possible way: through before- and after-school care, swim lessons, health & wellness for seniors, diabetes prevention, summer camps, teen leadership, family activities, senior social hours and, of course, scholarships that ensure our doors are always open for those most in need.

See the results. Please consider a gift to your neighborhood YMCA.

Here's How Your Gift Can Help

Teach Kids to Swim

Teaching children to swim is critical in a region surrounded by water. The Y's All Kids Swim program teaches 600 local kindergartners life-saving water safety skills each year at no charge.

Prevent Summer Learning Loss

Providing transformative summer camp experiences for 450 youth encourages character development and prevents summer learning loss.

Help older adults stay connected

According to experts, senior adults who are active and engaged socially often extend their lives and their enjoyment of life by years. The Y helps them stay connected through physical activity, field trips, volunteer opportunities and regular social activities.

Bridge the achievement gap

Support the academic achievement and wholistic development of school-age children through the Before- and After-School program.

George Williams Society

Sir George Williams left a lasting impact on the world when he founded the YMCA in 1851. You can leave a lasting impact too—with a gift of $1,000 or more, you become part of the George Williams Society, helping to move our community forward in a significant way.
