Host Your Event at YMCA at the Pines

The YMCA at the Pines is an 18-hole golf and banquet facility located in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, now part of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads. The Pines winds its way through the Albemarle pine thickets and features elevated greens, wide fairways and large chipping areas. The facility offers banquet options for weddings, private parties and corporate events, as well as membership options to include golf and full YMCA member benefits.

We host both outdoor and indoor events, with member and nonmember rates. We also have package options for renting multiple spaces. Men’s and women’s locker rooms are free to use for dressing rooms for weddings provided no tournament is happening on the event date.

Our three indoor spaces can accommodate the following number of guests:

Card Room
(up to 20 guests)
Free for members/nonprofits
$50 for nonmembers

Dining Room
(up to 50 guests)
$100 for members/nonprofits
$200 for nonmembers

(up to 150 guests)
$350 for members/nonprofits
$700 for nonmembers

Food & Beverage


The YMCA can supply all food and beverage with the exception of cakes for special occasions. Our in-house catering serves events of 20 guests or more, with menus that start at $14.50 per person.

Tables, chairs, table cloths, napkins, chair covers, glassware, plate ware and silverware are all available from the YMCA at the Pines, and we can assist with special linen rental if desired.
