Rick's Approach

I'm the Health & Wellness Director for the Albemarle Family YMCA. I specialize in training athletes who want to increase their strength, power, speed and agility. My training involves strength & conditioning, sports performance training, and injury prevention. Growing up as an athlete, I was exposed to different sports including baseball, soccer, basketball, and martial arts but my passion has always been with baseball. It's very important to teach young athletes today the proper lifting mechanics of every exercise early on to prepare them for a long, injury free, and successful future in sports.
