Five Years Strong with the Great Bridge/Hickory YMCA

Our family joined the Great Bridge/Hickory YMCA about 5 years ago. My husband enjoys the flexibility of 24-hour access to the gym, and our two sons have been doing swim lessons for several years, as well as YMCA after-school care, School's Out Camp, Parent's Night Out, and Camp Heron summer camp.  We LOVE all of the counselors and child-care directors, and the aquatics department. They all genuinely love our children, take excellent care of them, and exhibit incredible patience and compassion. We tried sending the boys to a week at another summer camp a couple of years ago but returned to the Y within two days. We can't imagine sending them anywhere else. Thank you for all that you do!
