With an emphasis on physical activity and healthy eating, LEAN Families provides coach-led guidance for the whole family on healthy habits and routines. This 12-week program is FREE and perfect for families with kids age 8–13.

Rock Steady Boxing
We are helping people with Parkinson’s disease in our community fight back! Using BoxMaster® and functional fitness training, participants meet continuously changing demands of strength, power, flexibility, coordination, balance, and overall motion. Those affected by Parkinson’s are becoming stronger and more confident as they exercise to manage symptoms and live life to the fullest.
REGYMEN workouts prevent burnout from the same old cardio routine. Using heart-rate training, you'll work through high intensity intervals and challenge your body, burning calories, gaining muscle, and improving flexibility and agility.
L.E.A.N Weight Loss Program
In the Lifelong Essentials for Activity & Nutrition (LEAN) program, you'll find support to become more active and to eat smarter for healthy weight loss.
Take your fitness to the next level with personal training. Your YMCA personal trainer will guide you through a tailored exercise program to help you achieve and maintain your health and wellness goals.
Homeschool PE is available to children ages 3-17 who are homeschooled, and is taught by our fitness team.
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA
LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA is a 12-week program that helps adult cancer survivors reclaim their health and well‐being.
Sentara Clinical Fitness
In the Sentara Clinical Fitness Program, participants who have been referred by their doctor work one-on-one with a Clinical Fitness Specialist to improve endurance, increase strength, improve mobility, reduce pain and improve daily function.
Transitions Fitness Therapy
The Y has partnered with Sentara Therapy Centers to assist you with an exercise plan that will help improve recovery from surgery, injury and other medical conditions. Pre-surgery and post-therapy plans are available.
Massage provides pain relief from tight muscles, increases mobility of joints, improves posture, circulation, energy, quality of sleep and mental alertness. It also helps promote faster healing from injuries and reduces stress.
