Indian River Family YMCA—Temporary Closures for Improvement Projects

Indian River Family YMCA Facility Updates Coming—but first we need to close some areas to get the work done.

In order to bring you the best Y experience possible, we are making some updates around the facility. Because of these updates, we will need to close certain areas as the work is completed. Please see the schedule and timing of this work and the areas effected.

Pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room—Closed for pool deck resurfacing from November 18—December 9.

Group Exercise Studio and Cycle Studio—Closed for floor refinishing from November 29—December 4. All classes that are typically held in these rooms will either be moved to another room or canceled. Please refer to the Group Exercise schedule for details.

Upstairs Childcare Area/Multi-Purpose Space—Closed for floor refinishing from November 20—21.

Remember, as a member of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads you have access to all Y locations. Please feel free to visit another YMCA location during this time to explore!
