We're less than a month away from summer camp starting and we can't wait to see you! We have summer planned full of fun, but before the activities can begin, we need to make sure that all of your required documentation has been uploaded and approved through your Y account. As a licensed child care provider, it is extremely important that all requirements are completed before your child can start care.

After completing the initial registration, you should have received an email requesting that the required paperwork be completed at least 30 days prior to your child's first day of camp. This timeframe ensures that our team has time to review your documents and address any needs or concerns that your child may have. Safety is our top priority, and it is crucial to have accurate, up-to-date information on file.

Once you have uploaded your child's documents, filled out waivers/consent forms, emergency contacts, and any other requested information, our trusted team will start the review process. The process includes making sure that the documents and other requested information aligns with the Department of Education's licensing rules. To see if your information has been reviewed or if any changes need to be made, under Status you will see a couple of options, Approved, Incomplete, Waiting for Approval, or Rejected. Here's what each of those means:

  • Approved: your item has been reviewed and is good to go.
  • Incomplete: your item has not been completed.
  • Waiting for Approval: you have completed your part, and our team has yet to review, but we are working hard to get there.
  • Rejected: the document has been reviewed and is missing information. You will receive a notification with the reason as to why. You will then have the opportunity to resubmit the required item for review.

We appreciate your time in ensuring that the required paperwork is uploaded in a timely manner so that your child is ready to go on their first day of care. We look forward to seeing you at the Y!
