Every weekday, thousands of youth in Hampton Roads embark on unforgettable adventures at Y Summer Camps. For over 1,300 of these children, this summer escape is made possible thanks to the generous support of our incredible community.

Recently, YMCA donors and community partners had the unique opportunity to witness firsthand the transformative power of their giving during the Summer Camp Impact Tours. The tours took place over three days at three camp locations: YMCA Camp Arrowhead, YMCA at JT's Camp Grom, and YMCA Camp Red Feather.
Each of these camps exudes its own charm and provides campers with diverse experiences, yet all share one common thread – they leave an indelible mark on the lives of the children who attend them. YMCA Camp Arrowhead
At YMCA Camp Arrowhead, the essence of adventure and self-discovery fills the air. Surrounded by nature on 55 acres of land in Suffolk, campers get the chance to explore the great outdoors, try their hand at various sports and activities, and forge lifelong friendships. YMCA at JT's Camp Grom
YMCA at JT's Camp Grom offers a one-of-a-kind experience specially designed for children with disabilities and their families. This inclusive haven allows campers of all abilities to break barriers, embrace their uniqueness, and create cherished memories in a supportive and understanding environment. YMCA Camp Red Feather
Nestled on the sprawling campus of Virginia Wesleyan University, YMCA Camp Red Feather warmly welcomes nearly 400 children each week. The moment you step foot on the grounds, the air is charged with an electrifying energy that is palpable. The vibrant atmosphere is a testament to the excitement and anticipation shared by campers and staff alike as they embark on a journey filled with adventure, creativity, and new friendships.
