Jared Cabaniss, 2020 Recipient of the YMCA Volunteer Service Award for the YMCA of South Hampton Roads


Jared was a HUGE help while we were shut down due to COVID. He helped with our Pandemic Food Assistance Program almost daily, delivering food and unloading the purchased and donated food so that it could be boxed. He also did all kinds of facility maintenance, upkeep, and building repairs. Jared was instrumental in the creation of our Adult Kickball league a year or so ago, and helped with field upkeep, lining the field and communication. In the fall he even helped coach our 3-5 year olds in Little Kickers every week! He is willing to jump in and help in any way he can.
