Jerry Oliver, 2020 Recipient of the YMCA Volunteer Service Award for the YMCA of South Hampton Roads


Mr. Oliver is an amazing asset to the community and the YMCA. He has always been willing to jump in and lend a helping hand whenever needed regardless of job needed. Some days we would find him paintbrush in hand keeping the facility in top notch condition, and other days he would be on the course raking up pine straw. Mr. Oliver exemplifies all that the YMCA stands for.
