Interactive Zone Rally 2013

On December 15, 2013, 86 Interactive Zone staff got together at the Albemarle YMCA re-invent our Interactive Zone. Topics included Listen First, SPARK, "Get in the Zone", and Tournaments. At the Y, particularly in Child Care, engaging children in physical activities, and being a role model are high on our list of importance. Being someone special in children's lives was a main focus of the training. Each year we get together to re-evaluate how we can be better at what we do. 

A special thank you to the wonderful speakers:  Julie Clark, Dean Mattix, Nick Wichowski, Bryon Brown, and O'Nealia Silvers. Also, thanks to the fantastic committee: Jennifer Cass, Mario Faulk, Derek Balderson, Bryon Brown, and O'Nealia Silvers. Congratulations to the Effingham Street Family YMCA for winning the trophy from the Y Commercial Competition! All in all, we had a wonderful time and are excited about bringing the enthusiasm into 2014.
