Leaders Club
Leaders Club is a fun, active social and service club for ages 12–18 that focuses on preparing youth for life after high school. Guided by a staff advisor, teens learn and practice leadership, determining rules of engagement for their club and participating in volunteer service projects. Teens also stay active together and participate in fun adventure activities. Teens make friends and develop self-confidence, independence and cooperation.
Leaders Club runs from September through June, and teens can join at any point during the year. Y membership or the Teen Pass is required to participate in Leaders Club.
Leaders Club is available at all YMCA of South Hampton Roads locations for the 2026-27 school year.

Socialize & Make Friends
Teens have support from a YMCA staff advisor and build relationships with other teens.
Build Leadership Skills
Teens work together to provide leadership for their club, creating a positive vision for their future, and seeing how they can succeed.
Have fun together
Teens are active together, playing team building and board games, playing sports, and go out to activities like ice skating, Haunted Greenbrier Farms and more.
