Leaders Club

Leaders Club is a fun, active club for ages 12–18 that focuses on preparing youth for life after high school. Guided by a staff advisor, teens hang out together, working out, playing games, socializing and going places like Hunt Club Farm and bowling. They also learn and practice leadership, determining the rules of engagement for their club and participating in volunteer service projects. In Leaders Club, teens make friends and develop self-confidence, independence and cooperation.

Leaders Club runs from September through June, and teens can join at any point during the year. Y membership or the Teen Pass is required.

Leaders Club is available at all YMCA of South Hampton Roads locations and at Indian River Middle School, Kempsville Middle School and Larkspur Middle School.
