Lifeguard Rally 2025
At the Y, safety is always our top priority. That’s why, on Friday, July 25, all YMCA of South Hampton Roads pools will close early for our mid-summer Lifeguard Rally and In-Service Training.
This important training gives our lifeguards a chance to refresh safety skills, stay sharp, and re-energize as we head into the second half of summer. With the hot weather and long pool days, it’s the perfect time to pause, refocus, and prepare to ensure that our pools remain safe and welcoming for everyone.
Indoor and outdoor pools will close at 10:30am on Friday, July 25th at the following locations:
- Eastern Shore Family YMCA
- Northampton County YMCA
- Outer Banks Family YMCA
- YMCA of South Boston/Halifax County
Indoor and outdoor pools will close at 12:00pm on Friday, July 25th at the following locations:
- Albemarle Family YMCA
- Currituck Family YMCA
- James L. Camp Jr. Family YMCA
Indoor and outdoor pools will close at 1pm on Friday, July 25th at the following locations:
- Blocker Norfolk Family YMCA
- Effingham Street Family YMCA
- Great Bridge/Hickory Family YMCA
- Greenbrier Family YMCA
- Hilltop Family YMCA
- Indian River Family YMCA
- Mt. Trashmore Family YMCA
