What locations are closed March 16–29?

• All YMCA of South Hampton Roads locations are closed. We are closing to help flatten the curve and prevent the spread of illness.

What about programs I already registered for?

• Birthday parties and special events
  We will contact you to reschedule or to credit your account.

• Swim lessons 
  A pro-rated system credit will be added to your YMCA account.

• Parents Time Out
  If you were signed up and are now unable to use your session this month, you will receive a new promo code to be used in 2020. If you paid for an additional session that is now canceled, we will credit your account.

• Preschool and School’s Out Care
  Fees already paid for the next two weeks of care will be refunded. Fees scheduled to draft from your account for the weeks schools are closed will be suspended until we are able to provide care.

Why is the Y closing?

It is important that we practice social distance as early as possible and follow the recommendations of national, state and local health officials in order to flatten the curve.
