Host your next birthday with the YMCA at JT's Camp Grom

The YMCA at JT's Camp Grom is the ideal location to celebrate turning one year older! As an adaptive adventure camp, Camp Grom brings all ages and abilities together to celebrate in ways only your imagination could think up—kayaking, fishing, basketball, swimming and add-ons like the climbing tower, make this your ideal birthday destination.

All activities are accessible for all abilities. If special assistance is necessary, please let us know when booking so we can staff with specially trained personnel.

Safety Measures
In response to COVID-19, we've implemented the following safety measures for birthday parties:

  • Parties may have up to 20 guests.
  • Parties will be divided into two groups of 10 for activities (for example: one group goes to the Alpine Tower while the other group swims)
  • Eight tables are available and normally seat eight people. We encourage that you limit to four people per table during cake/presents in practice of social distancing.
  • Catering is not available at this time. 
  • All equipment is sanitized after each use.
Standard Party

Standard Party: $350

  • Two hours: 30 minutes in Adventure Center for pizza and presents and 90 minutes for two Sportsplex or outdoor activities
    Choose from basketball, ping pong, corn hole, archery, bocce or fishing

  • Decorations (balloons, banner, table decor and photo backdrop)
    Choose from Unicorn, Dinosaur, Super Hero, Jungle
  • Plates, napkins, plasticware, cups

Standard Party Add-Ons

  • Extra Hour: $75
  • Extra participants: $10/person
  • Extra pizza: $15

Baby showers and Bridal showers available with an adjusted itinerary and decor. Formal set up add-ons available: linens, glassware, dining ware

Pool Party

Pool Party: $500

  • Three hours: One hour in Adventure Center for pizza and presents, two hours of swim time in chosen pool areas
    Choose from Indoor Pool, Lazy River & Splash Pad or split your time between both 
  • 20 participants
  • Party host
  • 3 large pizzas
  • Decorations (balloons, banner, table decor and photo backdrop)
    Choose from Unicorn, Dinosaur, Super Hero, Jungle
  • Plates, napkins, plasticware, cups

Pool Party Add-Ons

  • Extra Pool Hour: $100
  • Extra Lifeguard: $50 (if participant count requires it)
  • Use of more than one pool area at a time: $100 per hour
  • Extra participants: $10/person
  • Extra pizza: $15
  • Custom theme: Cost may vary

Pool participants may be required to pass a swim test or be required to wear a lifejacket

Lake Party

Lake Party: $500

  • Three hours: One hour in Adventure Center for pizza and presents, two hours of lake activities, including kayaking, paddle boats, stand-up paddle boarding
  • 20 participants
  • Party host
  • 3 large pizzas
  • Decorations (balloons, banner, table decor and photo backdrop)
    Choose from Unicorn, Dinosaur, Super Hero, Jungle

Lake Party Add-Ons

  • Extra lake hour: $100
  • Cable tubing and wakeboarding: $100
  • Extra participants: $10/person

Alpine Tower Party

Alpine Tower Party: $500

  • Four hours: One hour in Adventure Center for pizza and presents and three hours of climbing on the Alpine Tower
    • Participants must be 4 years of age or older and be wearing closed toed shoes. Allow 15–20 minutes per participant to climb the tower, one participant at a time is allowed unless extra staff is requested
    • Choice of two outdoor field activities can be set up for activities in between climbs (Cornhole, Archery, Bocce)
