Outdoor Day Camp | YMCA at JT's Camp Grom

In the tradition of YMCA regional day camps, YMCA at JT's Camp Grom offers youth and teens a safe and exciting outdoor summer adventure. Children and teens will learn life skills, create memories and form friendships through a variety of activities including cable wakeboarding, climbing towers, kayaks, fishing and more. YMCA at JT's Camp Grom's unique adaptive and integrated activities provide access for campers with and without disabilities. Camp options are available for ages 5–15.

Camp Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm
  • Camp drop-off begins at 6:30am
  • Camp pick-up ends at 6pm

Camp Options

Adaptive Camp

 

For ages 7 to 17

Adaptive camp provides a fun YMCA camp experience for children with disabilities. Caregivers may attend with campers with prior authorization.

 

Weekly Fees:
Members: $185
Nonmembers: $200

 

A one-time $50 registration fee and $10 deposit per week is due at time of registration.

Kinder Camp

 

For campers age 5

Kinder Camp is for young campers who are ready for an all-day program. Activities include music and dance, arts & crafts, outdoor play, swimming, special family events and more.

 

Weekly Fees

$185/member

$225/nonmember

A one-time $50 registration fee and $10/week deposit is required to reserve your spot.

School-Age Adventure

 

For campers ages 6–9

Outdoor adventure camp is all about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence and make lasting memories. 

 

Weekly Fees:
Members: $185
Nonmembers: $225

 

A one-time $50 registration fee and $10 deposit per week is due at time of registration.

Tween Camp

 

For ages 10–12

 

Tween campers have a style and pace all their own so we have designed activities especially to meet their needs and interests. Tween Campers will enjoy more choice in their activities, grow in responsibility, and get to help shape their camp experience.

Nonmembers: $225

 

A one-time $50 registration fee and $10 deposit per week is due at time of registration.

Specialty Camps

 

For campers ages 8–12

 

Specialty camps allow campers to spend more time focusing on activities they most enjoy. Camp Red Feather offers the following specialties this summer:

 

NERF Camp

 

Robotics

 

Girls on the Run (3rd through 6th graders)

 

Fees vary by specialty.

Teen Adventure

 

For ages 13–15

 

Teen Adventure Camp is designed to keep teens active and engaged in a variety of activities designed to build friendships and develop interpersonal and leadership skills.
